I'm Jess, a Master's student in Human-Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington. I'm a UX Researcher by day at Workiva, cat lady by night. I'm also a big sister, lover of digital media, and a gym rat.

UXR on the AI/ML Team at Workiva. Lead on Platform expansion of Workiva AI. Works closly with data tier, PM Org, and Engineering to create tools that are informed by my research.
Collaborator on the Equity Blueprint 3.0, integrating participatory design and user-centered research approaches.
Delivered an end-to-end UX research project for an AR/VR concept in a 10-week Agile sprint.
Executed a funded study with GSU’s Gerontology Institute to evaluate age-friendly supports and barriers using qualitative methods.
Managed participant recruitment, scheduling, and logistics to ensure smooth research processeses.
Updated behavioral tasks as needed, assisted during preliminary participant assessments, and recorded research sessions for subsequent coding.
